Use the instructions below to better understand the how to modify the window shades in your guestroom.
Every window features a blackout shade and a sheer.
Floors 2&3 feature traditional curtains using pull cords to open and close
Floors 4-10 feature automated shades. Please do not pull on them. The controls are wall mounted. Note: Room 1002 and 1003 feature traditional curtains.
For Automated Shades
(Floors 4-9)
Shade controls can be found on the wall next to the thermostat.

To open or close both at the same time, make sure the light is illuminated next to both shade buttons at the same time. Then select open or close.
To open them partially, simply press stop while the shades are in motion and at the desired length.
To move each shade independently, make sure the button for only the shade you want to move is illuminated. See the image below for examples.
The switch on the left has both buttons illuminated, meaning it will control both shades at the same time.
The middle switch shows the blackout button illuminated,
The switch on the right is set to only control the sheers.
